The funds raised from Caldecote Open Gardens 2012 will take a little time to count, but we will be counting the blessings of many conversations with new and old friends, and the experiences of a wonderful array of gardens for much longer.
Many of us found it difficult to get round all 14 gardens, simply because there was so much to enjoy in each one – and not least, people! Our garden owners were wonderful hosts, and gave so much – not only of their time, but their knowledge when quizzed about their gardens, and in many cases their cooking.
We are so grateful to them all – it was a wonderful weekend. And we can’t help but think the animals enjoyed it too…
