What image do you have of Jesus? Almost all the images we see of him make him look European, but in our service to mark the Week of Christian Unity, David reminded us that Jesus came to earth for all peoples of the world.
During his reflection on the third Sunday of Epiphany, David handed round a number of printouts of sculptures, murals and paintings depicting Jesus. It was a vivid reminder both of the world’s diversity and of the unity that Jesus brings.
We’ve brought together here a handful of images of Jesus drawn from all corners of the world – from Mongolia to Mozambique and Philadelphia to the Philippines.
