On the Early May Bank Holiday of 2018, our church neighbours at The Old Rectory generously opened their beautiful garden to raise funds for Caldecote Church.

It turned out to be the hottest May Bank Holiday on record, and the sun wasn’t the only one to show up – the garden was visited by people from all around Cambridge, who tucked into a wonderful array of homemade cakes and stocked up on wildlife-friendly plants, at the same time benefiting from plantsman Daniel Lee’s extensive knowledge.

The day raised an extraordinary £1,027.87.

We have more open garden events coming up. Don’t miss out – sign up to our weekly e-newsletter the Caldecote Catch-up.
