The Bank Holiday Monday event at Childerley Hall saw a record turnout, wonderful weather, and an incredible £2,350 raised.
The event was part of our plan to get the parish church on a sound financial footing so that it can continue its 900-year history of being a place for community seasonal events, regular worship and weddings, funerals and baptisms.
Thank you to all at Childerley – especially the gardeners – and to everyone who baked tasty cakes and worked hard serving teas. Our printers Target Print deserve special mention for a number of last-minute jobs which they completed with grace and goodwill! And finally, thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a special afternoon.
