We’re inviting everyone to add a couple of extra items to their shopping trolley this week to help support someone in need. This Sunday we’re collecting for The Besom in Cambridge. 

The Besom is a local charity who help those in need in Cambridge. Our harvest gifts will be made into starter food packs for individuals and families in the process of being rehoused.

Take a moment as you walk up and down the aisles (or click ‘add to cart’) to help make the day of someone who is struggling. What would really cheer you up to receive if you were in their situation? A nice bar of chocolate, some decent coffee? Take your pick from the list below and bring your offering to our Harvest Thanksgiving Service this Sunday (1st October):

• tea, coffee or hot chocolate
• salt, pepper or oil
• sugar, rice or pasta
• cereal, squash or fruit juice
• tinned fruit, baked beans or soup
• jams and spreads, chocolate or biscuits
