Our Bishop in Parliament

Like many other bishops in the Church of England, the Bishop of Ely, Stephen Conway, has been busy contributing questions to debates in the House of Lords this past week.

As well as contributing questions on housing provision, the importance of cathedrals to their communities and speaking in a debate on education funding, the Bishop of Ely was also on duty throughout the week, reading prayers at the start of each sitting day.

The Church in Parliament website gives an interesting quick peek into which bishops contributed to which topics: view the summary for the past week here.
